Reliable Cryogenic Embedding
The Tissue-Tek® Cryomold® Intermediate is a disposable plastic mold intended for use during cryogenic tissue embedding. Its defined 15 × 15 × 5 mm dimensions help produce uniform specimen blocks with a flat surface for subsequent frozen sectioning.
The mold can be used with an appropriate freezing medium, such as Tissue-Tek® O.C.T. Compound, which is sold separately. The resulting block format supports efficient handling during cryostat preparation and sectioning.
With 100 molds supplied per case, this product is suited to laboratories performing routine or high-throughput cryosectioning workflows.
